**Elaine's POV**
My head was aching and my body was burning. I opened my right eye - the one that wasn't close by my eyepatch and PERFECT - half expecting to be lying in a hospital. But instead I was standing in front of an old burnt house. MY old burnt house in England. I wanted to turn around but something was pulling me in.
Then I heard it. Their voices.
"Elaine... Help your dear appa..." says a male voice.
"Elaine I'm trapped upstairs." says a female voice.
"Elaine. I love you. Save yourself." The last voice was Andrew, the boy I love. I ran inside to find everything in place. I searched for them upstairs and went to my parents' room. When I touched the door knob, it was scorching hot. So I tried cooling it down with a bucket of water, but to no avail. Their voices were getting louder. I kicked the door down and a blast of flames came to my left eyes. I blacked out again.

Gongchan wipes Elaine's face that was dripping with sweat. He examined her features when Sandeul squeezed in.
"Channie, don't you want to open her eyepatch?" he asks in a hushed voice. Gongchan shakes his head and says, "No. Her sister forbids it." Sandeul made a face and walked away with a duck mask in his hand. He joins Baro who was drinking watermelon juice. Meanwhile, Jinyoung was with Jane.
He studied how Jane was behaving, quite emotionless, really.
"May I know your name?" asks Jinyoung.
"It's Jane."
"Where are you two from?"
"England.
"Okay... why did your sister faint? Does she have some kind of disease?"
Jane didn't reply and looked at her sister. Then at Gongchan. Yes, she thought. His face and Andrew is exactly the same. She looks back at Jinyoung, shaked her head and mouthed a "no".
Suddenly, "Jane... ugh my head hurts." Elaine woke up but still had her eyes closed. Jane rushes to her sister. When Elaine opened her eyes, she felt puzzled to see 5 boys. She gasped when she saw Gongchan.
"Hey hey.. Please don't faint again," says Sandeul.
"Why am I here?" asks Elaine.
"Don't you remember? You fainted in front of our maknae," says deep-voiced Baro while patting Gongchan's shoulder. Gongchan was starong intensely at Elaine. Elaine noticed his eyes were sparkling just like a puppy. But Elaine looked away because she knew, that couldn't be Andrew.
"Uh thanks but you guys should have sent me to a hospital or something."
"Naaaah, Gongchan insisted taking you here!"'said Jinyoung. Gongchan blushed and hit Jinyoung in the ribs. "Hyung! Don't embarrass me... Come I'll take you two home." Gongchan took Elaine and Jane's bags and sped out.
"Well that was flattering," says Jane.

"You guys..are going to live here?!"
Gongchan stared at the house in front of him. The door's broken in two, the windows are shattered and the roof looks like it was about to fall off. When he entered the house, the floors were half eaten by termites and the electricity was long gone. There was water, only rusted.
Elaine looked down in embarrassment. "This is where we used to live. We grew up here until Appa finally had the money and job to move to England. We can manage." A tear escaped her eyes but she quickly wiped it away.
Jane's face, which was emotionless the whole day, finally frowned to the sight of her house. "I'll need to adjust..." she says.
Gongchan went out and closed the door behind him while Elaine was fighting to get on the porch. "Thank you, er, guy." He felt guilty, though. I can't let two girl live here in this condition.
"Hey wait!" Gongchan turned. Elaine looked at him.
"Um, you didn't pay me back!"
"What?"
"Yeah! I dragged you all the way from the airport to my home, and drove you all the way from my home to here."
"Oh.. Okay... How shall I pay you back?"
Gongchan grinned. "By staying with me and my friends in Seoul."
"What...." Elaine paused. Jane was considering Gongchan's suggestion because she doesn't really fancy living in a dump.
"Just until your house is fixed up."
"And how does that work out?"
"I'll call a decorator to redecorate your house!"
Elaine thought long and hard. Jane was nodding, meaning she liked the idea. Elaine only thought what was best for her sister, who was traumatised by the fire incident that left and ugly scar on her right arm....
"Okay. But, just until our house is fixed." Elaine finally decided.
"Alright! Let's go."

Prologue.
The eye patched girl shakes her beloved sister to wake her up. "We're here," she says. Her little sister blinked and looked out the aeroplane's window. "Seoul. We're finally here." The eye patched girl, Elaine, stands up and stretches after sitting in the aeroplane for 13 hours. She opens the compartment above her and pulls out 2 pink and blue bags. Her sister, Jane, applies one more line of eyeliner on her eyelids.
"Annyeonghaseyo, welcome to Korea. Passengers may exit the aeroplane," boomed the speaker. "Please exit in a straight line. Thank you for boarding with us. "
"Come on Jane. I don't want to miss a taxi." says Elaine to her sister.
"Relax, there're tons of taxis." But Elaine pushed her sister out anyway. After picking up their bags, they searched for the place where people go to board a taxi. As they were walking, Elaine noticed a familiar face surrounded by a group of screaming girls.
"Eh? Is that... No it could'nt be...." mumbled Elaine as she stopped in her tracks.
Jane who just realized her sister stopped walking turned around to check on her big sister. "What's wrong, sis?" and looked towards the boy Elaine was looking at. Next thing she knew, Elaine was rushing towards the boy. Avoiding screaming girls and flashing camera until she was right in front of him.
"Andrew?!" screamed Elaine. The boy looked puzzled. Suddenly the flashes from the cameras turned into flames and Elaine remembered the dreadful night where her fiance and parents were killed in a fire. The memories hurt her head and she touched her left eye which has an eyepatch to conceal her pink skinless skin. She passed out.
Characters.
Elaine Pierce - 19. An orphan. Wears an eyepatch to conceal the burn marks on her left eye. Isn't actually blind. Moved to Seoul with her sister to forget the bad memories from her hometown in England. Meets Gongchan at Incheon International Airport - she fainted after noticing that Gongchan's face resembles her late fiance who tried to save her parents in a fire two years ago. Rightful heir of the Pierce Gold. Has blue-green eyes.
Jane Pierce - 17. Elaine's little sister. Has been an antisocial girl after her parents died. Loves her big sister. Is good at painting and playing the piano. Has a pretty face but an ugly scar on her right arm due to the fire. Likes Jinyoung but keeps it a secret. Expresses her feelings through her paintings.
Gong Chan Sik - 20. Invites the Pierce sisters to stay with B1A4 after Jane showed the abandoned old house they were supposed to live in. Maknae and vocalist of B1A4. Falls in love with Elaine. Elaine's shoulder to cry on. Doesn't care about Elaine's complexion.
Jung Jin Young - 22. Leader of B1A4. Likes to observe Jane. Tries to win Jane's heart and trust. Helps the sisters by giving them jobs at WM Entertainment.
James Gerard - 17. Jane's long lost twin brother. He was mixed up with a dead baby after being born and his parents' thought he was dead. Raised by the Gerards - a problematic family.

“Channie... it’s freezing,” says Nadia with 3 blankets over her. She takes the thermos at the kitchen counter and pours two cups of hot chocolate. She hands one to Gongchan and drinks it.
“Ah... best hot chocolate ever,” praises Gongchan. Nadia snuggles herself close to Gongchan. It was a stormy night. The temperature was almost in negative. Suddenly someone knocked the door.
“Ah, who could that be?” asks Nadia.
“I’ll go look,” Gongchan says *bravely*. He walks to the door and turns the lock. He took a peek and quickly swung the door open after seeing who it was. “Nadia, get a towel! It’s Cheonsa!” he shouts. Nadia almost choked on her drink. She put down her cup down and hurriedly ran to the laundry room to get a towel for daughter.
“And Nadia, make that two!” shouts Gongchan, again.
“Two? For whom? Is Chin Ho here too?” thought Nadia.

“Sit here, your mother’s searching for a towel. You’re soaking wet!” muttered Gongchan as he turned up the temperature at the heater. Cheonsa was shivering. Nadia came and saw Cheonsa, cradling something inside a blanket. She came closer and saw that it was a baby!
“Um.. here you go... dear. Who’s baby is that?” asks Nadia as she hands the towels to her daughter. She felt uneasy. “The baby’s hers, dear,” says Gongchan. Nadia couldn’t believe her ears. She almost fell to the ground but Gongchan took hold of her.
Cheonsa took a deep breath and said, “Yeah ma, she’s mine.”

“Cheonsa, you’re only 20! God, WHY?!” shouts Nadia. She feels frustrated after hearing Cheonsa’s story of being pregnant all this time and not telling her and Gongchan. “What about your studies??” Nadia storms to her room. Cheonsa looks to the floor. She wrapped her daughter with a warm, dry blanket.
Gongchan sits beside Cheonsa. “So, what’s her name?” he asks.
“Jessica.. James named her after his grandmother,” answered Cheonsa, weakly.
“James?”
“Yah, James. He’s my fiancé. Well, WAS my fiancé. He proposed after I gave birth to Jessica. But then...” Cheonsa didn’t finish her sentence and started to cry.
“What happened?” asks Gongchan.
“He died in an accident.”
“Awh... too bad he couldn’t join our family.”
“Excuse me,” says Cheonsa as she stood up. She took Jessica from Gongchan’s arms and walked to her old bedroom. Gongchan sighed and walked to his bedroom too. He opened the door and saw Nadia slumped on the bed.

“Nadia?” he says, softly.
“What.”
“Come on, it’s not really a bad thing. Is it?”
“YES IT IS! She’s supposed to study and get her degree in medics and wait for US to pick a HUSBAND for HER. Not like this! NOT LIKE THIS! Ergh,” complains Nadia.
“Come on, Cheonsa’s home after 2 years not contacting us. Aren’t you happy to see your own daughter?”
“Of course I’m happy. But this isn’t right....” Nadia fell silent. She was already snoring asleep. Gongchan covered her with a blanket and sat on the bed.
“I’m sure everything’s going to be okay... soon.”

Synopsis ;
Nadia and Gongchan's kids, Cheonsa, Chin Ho and Ae Cha are all grown up and living somewhere else, leaving their parents all alone. One day on a stormy night, Cheonsa comes back to her mother's home after 2 years while cradling a baby. She admitted being pregnant for all this time and her fiance just died in an accident a week ago. Nadia was worried of her daughter's behavior and is trying her best to make everything well again.
On the other hand, Sandeul and Madeline's relationship are becoming rocky after Sandeul's big album debut. Madeline found out she was pregnant and doesn't know how to tell Sandeul.
Saya belum fikir nak jadikan one shot or ber-episode. Biar saya tulis sampai habis dulu ok. Ceh saya memang suka buat kerja bertangguh ni T^T Give me 2 weeks or so. Ok babai peace out. Assalamualaikum.
“Cheonsa! Chin Ho! Don’t run too fast!! You’ll get your clothes dirty!” shouts Nadia to her two 4-year-old twins while cradling Ae Cha, her 3 month old baby.
“Kids, come sit down, the bride is about to come now!” says Gongchan.
Cheonsa and Chin Ho quickly takes a sit beside their mother and looks eagerly at their uncle Sandeul, all fit with a suit, waiting down the aisle for his soon-to-be wife, Madeline.
“Appa, was your wedding like this?” asks Chin Ho to Gongchan. Gongchan smiled to his son and pats his head.
“A little bit. You should’ve seen your appa that day, so handsome!” says Gongchan proudly. Nadia laughs at him.
“Here comes the bride,” says the speaker. Madeline walks with her father on the aisle, approaching Sandeul. Sandeul, who was nervous, gained a scent of pride and happiness when he saw Madeline walking to him, smiling.

2 months ago...
“Ah, Sandeul-oppa, where are you taking me?” asks Madeline who has blindfolds over her eyes. Sandeul holds her hands and escorts her to a beach not far from the B1A4 dorm. It was already 8pm and Madeline was curious of Sandeul asking her out at night.
“Tadaa!” says Sandeul as he opens Madeline’s blindfolds. Madeline saw a picnic set up on the beach, with candles, a turkey and plates and everything! Sandeul asks for Madeline to sit down.
“You made all of this?” says Madeline, looking excitedly at the set up. Sandeul nods and cuts a piece of turkey. He puts them in Madeline’s plate. They ate and chatted for almost an hour.
“Why all of the sudden?” asks Madeline, curious.
Sandeul sighed and said, “Well, Madeline... I believe this is our last date as boyfriend and girlfriend...”
“What?” Madeline was shocked. Sandeul stood up and lifts Madeline. He pulls her away from the picnic set up and kneeled. Madeline was puzzled.
“Because, Madeline, after this I want a date as husband and wife,” says Sandeul as he pulls out a box from his jacket. Madeline was shocked and almost screamed. Sandeul opened the box and there it was, a silver diamond ring that Madeline complimented at a jewellery store during her date with Sandeul a few days ago.
“Sandeul.. what is this?”
“Madeline Jia, would you do the honour of becoming my lawfully wedded wife?” Sandeul blushes.
Madeline jumped and said, “Yes!! Of course!”
Sandeul stood up and hugged her. Madeline was already in tears. He slipped on the ring. In matches perfectly.
“I don’t know what to say...” says Madeline, nervous at the same time. Sandeul kissed her cheeks and smiles.

“Do you, Madeline Jia, take Lee Jung Hwan as your lawfully wedded husband?” says the priest.
“I do,” Madeline replies, nervously.
“And do you, Lee Jung Hwan, take Madeline Jia as your lawfully wedded wife?”
“I do,” says Sandeul.
“By the power vested in me, I know pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride,” the priest says and smiles to the newly wed. Sandeul lifts Madeline’s veil and kisses her lips. The crowd rises and claps.
“Woot wooooot!” shouts Jinyoung. Sandeul and Madeline laughs and bows.

“Group photo, group photo!” shouts Baro as he sets his camera on a tripod and puts it on stopwatch. Everybody races for a spot beside the newly weds. But Gongchan and his family got there first. He smiled with pride.
The camera went ‘click’ and the photo of the historical day was taken.
“Madeline, Sandeul, I’m so happy for you! I hope you guys will stay together, forever!” says Nadia to Madeline and Sandeul. She hugs them both. So does Gongchan.
“I hope the best for you guys, too,” replies Madeline and Sandeul. They all made a group hug. Jinyoung and the others saw and joined them.

“The kids are asleep,” says Nadia as she sits beside Gongchan.
“Such a happy day, isn’t it?” Gongchan asks and puts his arm around Nadia. Nadia nods and places her head on Gongchan’s shoulders.
“What next? Children? Grandchildren? Haha, I can’t wait,” scoffs Nadia.
“When those days come, I’m sure I’ll always be by your side,” Gongchan says and pecks Nadia. Nadia laughs and punches him. “You goof. Haha.”

“Dum dum dum...” hummed Gongchan as he was stirring his famous kimchi soup he’s making. Everybody is outside shovelling the snow while Nadia is resting in the lounge. After the soup was ready, he called everybody to the kitchen.
“Brrr. It’s so cold. Everytime we shovel the snow, another new layer comes in. Ah, I’m exhausted!” complains Baro. CNU nods in agreement, so does Madeline, Jinyoung and Sandeul.
“Just in case a storm comes in, do we have any food supplies?” asks Madeline. Sandeul points to the floor and says, “There are in the basement. Are you sure there’s going to be a storm?”
Madeline nods and points outside. The snow is already getting heavier and heavier. Nadia comes into the kitchen with one hand on her hips and one grabbing a bowl from the cupboard.
“Let’s just hope there isn’t one,” Nadia mutters.

Night falls and the snow is as tall as half of the door. Gongchan puts a blanket over Nadia and crawls underneath it.
“How’s appa’s big boy?” Gongchan asks as he tickles Nadia’s tummy. Nadia barely felt it.
“How are you sure that it’s a boy?” asks Nadia.
“Instincts.”
Suddenly Nadia felt a sharp pain in her stomache. She holds her tummy and screams for help. Gongchan was alarmed and called the others. Gongchan layed Nadia on the couch and called 911. Madeline raced to Nadia.
“Ah! They can’t send any help because of the snow,” says Gongchan as he slammed the phone. He took a towel from the kitchen cabinet and wiped Nadia’s forehead that is already dripping with sweat.
“Sandeul, Baro, go take a bucket of warm water and a few towels. Jinyoung, CNU, you guys take some clippers and scissors. Nadia has to give birth right now!” Madeline ordered. They follow Madeline’s instructions and gathered the equipment. Suddenly Nadia’s water flowed. She screamed in pain and squeezed Gongchan’s hand.

"Push Nadia, PUSH!!!" shouted Madeline while searching for the baby's head. Gongchan stayed by Nadia's side while the others waited outside Nadia's room.
"I'm trying!! Gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!" Nadia screamed. She took a deep breath and pushed as hard as she could. Madeline could see the baby's head and nodded eagerly. "There she is, there she is! More Nadia! Just 3 pushes more!"
"Bah, that looks painful," says Gongchan with his eyes wide open.
"Hey, fool!! Help me get the baby out!! AAAAAAHHHHH," Nadia shouted at Gongchan.
Gongchan nodded and sang a song, but it isn't helping. After a few pushes, the baby is almost out. Nadia could here a cry and felt a bit relieved. "Last one, Nadia. And this will be over," Madeline said. Nadia nodded and gave one big push, finally the baby went out. Madeline clips and cuts the umbilical cord and hands the baby to Nadia.
"It's a girl," Madeline said and smiled. Nadia and Gongchan looked at their firstborn.
"Ah, she's so beautiful just like her mother," Gongchan said and pinched Nadia's nose.
Suddenly, Nadia felt pain again in her stomach. She cried and handed the baby over to Gongchan. Madeline was shocked and checked again.
"Another one! Nadia you're having twins! Ok stay still... stay still..." Madeline crouched and got her hands ready for one more baby.
"I don't think I can do it..." Nadia said, weakly.
"Come on Nadia just a few more pushes and this will all be over," Gongchan kissed Nadia's forehead. She looks to her husband and child and felt a stream of adrenaline go through her. She pushes as hard as she can. After a few pushes, the second baby was finally out. She felt a heap of relief.
"Ah, a handsome baby boy," says Madeline as she hands him to Nadia.
"So, what are we going to call them?" asks Gongchan.
"Hmmmmmmmm...... let's check a name dictionary first. Haha!" Nadia says and laughs.
Lepasni saya jarang online *buat muka sedih*. Jadi dalam sekali or dua kali sebulan saya rasa saya nak publish fanfic one shot sahaja! Sebab kalau buat yang episode, nanti korang tertunggu-tunggu pulak kan bila nak update. Lagi-lagi Vanilla Twilight tu. Zzzzzz. Sori la takda idea nak sambung camna. Sinopsis ;

Dan nama Amber dan Baro yang dicalonkan! Mereka tidak mahu pergi, namun terpaksa kerana bayaran sudah dilakukan untuk mereka.
Dalam perjalanan, mereka bergaduh dan terjatuh daripada kapal tersebut. Kemudian mereka terdampar pula di satu pulau yang tidak berpenghuni. Bolehkah mereka berkerjasama sementara menunggu pasukan keselamatan mencari mereka?

“Channie, are you okay?” asks Nadia to Gongchan. Gongchan just stares blankly at the ceiling. The doctor is checking his eyes and head. Suddenly Gongchan spoke.
“I remember everything. I remember how Hyuna ruined our life. How she ruined everything we planned.”
The doctor looked at Nadia and says that Gongchan’s memory has come back. Seeing Hyuna activated a nerve in his brain. Nadia just looked at Gongchan and smiled at him. Gongchan was still in a bad mood. The doctor left them and headed home. Nadia stood up and left the room, leaving Gongchan still speechless.
“Nadia... where are you going....?” asks Gongchan weakly. Nadia turned to look at him and continues her journey. In about 10 minutes later, she returned with Channie’s old guitar in her hand.
“I found this in the attic and tuned it up a bit,” Nadia says as she sits beside Gongchan. Nadia plays a tune.
“Channie, do you remember? You always sing me to sleep when I have nightmares.. This time, it’s my turn,” Nadia starts to sing a song called ‘Never Grow Up’ by Taylor Swift.

Gongchan listens carefully to his wife. Nadia always refuses to sing whenever he asks to, but today she's doing it willingly.

Nadia increases the volume of her voice so that Gongchan could hear the chorus.

Nadia starts crying by the second chorus and finishes the song with all the breath she had. Gongchan wiped her tears with his hand and smiled at her.
"I wish I could turn back time and be small again. Having you with me and not having to worry about all these grown up stuff," Nadia whispers.
"Hey, let's forget the past and strive for the future. I'm still me, and we'll always be together with our child," Gongchan replies and hugs Nadia.

A few months later....
"Ah, Sandeul oppa! Look!" says Madeline excitedly as she points to something outside the window. Sandeul comes nearer and looks outside. "Wow, he's so close to me," Madeline thought to herself.
"Wah, it's snowing! Winter already, eh?" Sandeul's face lit up as he saw frozen droplets falling from the sky. They admired the lovely view together with B1A4 and Nadia watching them from a distance.
"Oh mamma mia! My flowers! Let's save them, Maddie!!" Sandeul says and puts a coat over Madeline. "Maddie?" Madeline asks herself and smiles. She likes that nickname and followed Sandeul outside. She walked outside and already saw Sandeul running to the garden.
"I don't want my flowers to die of hypothermia," worries Sandeul.
"Haha, you dork. They won't die, don't worry," Madeline teases. She helps Sandeul clean the snow from the flowers.
"Eh, look Madeline. This flower, it's the only one that's blooming," Sandeul points to a pink and red flower. "It's beautiful," Madeline says.
"Just like you," Sandeul mutters under his breath.
"What?"
"Eh, nothing. He he,"
Sandeul notices that the snow is getting thicker and makes a snowball. He throws one at Madeline and ran. Madeline decided to get revenge and throw a snowball at him too. They played for half an hour until Sandeul fell to his knees. Madeline sees him panting and runs to him. Sandeul doesn't want to show Madeline his 'soft' side and lies down on the snow and moves his hands and legs.
"Look! An angel!" Sandeul stands up and looks at his 'masterpiece'. Madeline laughs at him.
"It looks... weird.. hahaha,"
"Well, you try make one! Haha!" Sandeul pulls Madeline down. They both made a snow angel together.
"You know what, Madeline? You already seem like an angel, helping me out of my problems."
"I'm glad to hear that." Madeline smiles and giggled.

"Roads are going to be closed due to heavy snow. We're not sure if the electricity will be cut, but just make sure everybody's ready for the storm," says the news reporter.
"Nadia, didn't the doctor say this month will be your ninth?" asks Gongchan while rubbing Nadia's tummy. Nadia nods weakly. She's worried about the baby.

“Annyeong, Sandeul-oppa. You look stressed today,” says Madeline to Sandeul who was staring outside the window for almost an hour. Sandeul didn’t reply but kept on staring and staring. Madeline snapped her fingers in front of Sandeul’s face and then Sandeul realises and looked at her.
“Oh, I’m fine. Ehem,” Sandeul excuses himself to his bedroom.
Madeline looks at him with sad eyes. Nadia and Gongchan saw the scene and looked at eachother. Suddenly, “Ding dong!” goes the doorbell.
“I’ll get it,” says Nadia as she rushes to the door. Gongchan tailed Nadia because they were playing together and the game wasn’t done yet so he doesn’t want Nadia to cheat. Haha *kata-kata penulis. Nadia opens the door and it was Hyuna with a police officer.
“Oh, Hyuna! What are you doing here?” asks Nadia.
“I wanted to see Sandeul. Hihi. Gongchan? You’re already awake?” Hyuna said after she saw Gongchan behind Nadia. Gongchan took a long stare at Hyuna. Suddenly memories of the day he got stabbed came to him, so fast. His head starts to hurt and he almost fell. Nadia took hold of him and puts her hand on his head.
“Gongchan, are you okay?” Nadia puts Gongchan’s arm over her and excuses herself. She left Hyuna in the hands of Madeline and brought Gongchan upstairs. Madeline looks at Hyuna, annoyed, and calls out to Sandeul.
“Sandeul! Someone’s here to see you~” Madeline said. Sandeul went out from his bedroom and walked towards the door. He saw Hyuna, smiling, and sighed.
“What do you want, Hyuna?” he asks.
“Urm, Sandeul, can we have a little chat? Friend to friend?” Hyuna asks and takes hold of Sandeul’s hand. Sandeul let go of her grip and went outside with Hyuna following him from behind. Madeline closed the door and stood by the window, spying on Hyuna and Sandeul. Hyuna was talking Sandeul into something, and it looks like Sandeul is just nodding his head and smiling at Hyuna. Madeline could feel a tear drop on her cheek but she quickly wiped it off.
“Why should I care? I mean nothing to him,” Madeline to herself.
She continues to spy on them but was surprised to see Hyuna crying and Sandeul patting her back. Sandeul stood up and bows to Hyuna. He smiles and walks back to the dorm. Madeline quickly pretended to do the dishes when Sandeul came in.
“So, is everything okay?” Madeline asks.
Sandeul pulls a chair in front of Nadia and sighs. Madeline felt something weird has happened.
“You know, Sandeul-oppa, you can tell me your problems if you want to,” says Madeline with a concerned face. Sandeul looks at Madeline.
“Hyuna... she wants us to be back together again,” says Sandeul.
“So....?” Madeline wants to know more.
“I considered it and refused.”
“Ehhh? Wae?”
“I’ve waited for her for too long. And she even injured my best friend. I still love her after our breakup, but the feeling’s gone now. Hm... excuse me, I need to rest,” explains Sandeul. He puts back the chair he sat on and went into his bed. Madeline feels as if she has failed to make him happy.

Eventually, Nadia came out with a sad look on her face. She went inside Gongchan’s room, which was also her room since they got married, and had a little chat with Gongchan. She hasn’t spoken in Korean for a long time, but she still remembers how.
“(talking in Korean) Do you know who I am?” asks Nadia.
“(talking in Korean) Yes. Madeline said that you are my wife and you are pregnant with my child,” answers Gongchan while looking at an album of photos. Nadia’s eyes were all teary but she quickly wiped it off. Gongchan stumbled on a picture of him and Nadia during their teenage years and pointed to it.
“(talking in Korean) That’s you and me at my mom’s 40th birthday party,” explains Nadia as she takes a long look at the photo.
“(talking in Korean) We’ve known eachother for a long time, am I correct?”
“(talking in Korean) Yeah, we have.”

Nadia and Gongchan spent a lot of their time together since Nadia was the closest to Gongchan since they were little. Gongchan starts to remember a bit of English but couldn’t speak well.
Meanwhile, in the flower garden.
“(talking in Korean) So we’ve already been married for.. 6 months? How time passes by,” says Gongchan.
“(talking in Korean) Yeah, we only spent time 2 months together and you were in a coma for the rest of the 4 months,” Nadia replies. Gongchan smiled and plucked a flower from the “Gongchan’s property” flower bush. He gave it to Nadia and sat beside her.
“(talking in Korean) I want to go somewhere with you. I feel like we haven’t spent a lot of time together,”
(talking in Korean) “Hmmm.... Let’s go to Seoul International Aquarium Centre!” says Nadia excitedly. Gongchan considered her suggestion and nods approvingly. Nadia claps her hand and made a thumbs up to Gongchan.

Madeline booked tickets for Gongchan and Nadia and they went to the aquarium in the afternoon. It was a bit cold so they hurried themself to the aquarium.
“The last time we went here together was.. 10 years ago, I think?” explains Nadia. Gongchan looked at a statue of a shark in awe. Nadia pulls his hand and they both went inside. Nadia decided to bring Gongchan to the underwater tunnel, the attraction of the aquarium. They walked side by side, hands in hands into the tunnel. There was a school of fish – Blue Tang species – swimming beside them.
“Eh! That’s the fish from that movie.. what was it.. Ah! Finding Nemo!” says Gongchan excitedly as he points to a Blue Tang fish which reminded him of Dory. Nadia was surprised that Gongchan remembered the movie they saw together a few years ago. Nadia made an impression of a fish and said, “Just keep swimming, just keep swimming. Hahaha!” they both laughed at Nadia’s joke.
Suddenly, a big stingray swam above them majestically. Nadia and Gongchan just stared at the beautiful creature. As dangerous as it was, it looked like and angel swimming above them.
“You know what, Gongchan? I can’t wait to give birth to our baby,” says Nadia.
“Why so?” he asks.
“I can’t wait to show him or her how beautiful the world is,” Nadia said and looked at Gongchan. Gongchan smiled and kissed her forehead.

Everyone was at Gongchan’s bedside. They could see that Gongchan is moving his head and his hands, but his eyes aren’t opening. Madeline brought a bowl of water and wiped his face with a towel. Nadia held his hand. They waited and waited. Suddenly his eyes fluttered and opened. He stared at everybody in the room. Nadia smiled but Gongchan’s face was blank.
“(talking in Korean) Who are you..? Why am I here?”
Nadia’s smile faded. “Don’t you remember me? Gongchan?” asks Nadia.
“(talking in Korean) What is she saying? And who are you other people?”
Nadia felt her world collapse. She left the room, sobbing. Sandeul wanted to follow her but Jinyoung held Sandeul’s hand and said that it’s not a good time. Madeline called Gongchan’s doctor to come by their house immediately.

“Gongchan is experiencing moderate amnesia. This isn’t permanent, but it may take a while for him to get his memory back. You all can help by showing him things from his past. He only remembers his name and how to speak in korean,” says Dr Lee who was the doctor who treated Gongchan. He packed all of his things and left B1A4’s dorm.
Madeline just sat down on a chair with her hands under her chin, thinking about what’s happening. Nadia locked herself in the attic. Sandeul tried to persuade her to come out, but she remain silent. Madeline starts to explain things one by one to Gongchan.
“(talking in Korean) Gongchan-oppa, I am Madeline, your manager and nurse. This is Jinyoung, Baro, Sandeul and CNU, your group mates. The woman who ran is Nadia, your wife.”
Gongchan starred at Madeline. He definitely doesn’t remember her. He blinked and looked at his stomache.
“(talking in Korean) Was I sick?” asks Gongchan as he looks at a healed fresh scar on his abdomen. Madeline nods and continues.
“(talking in Korean) You are also going to become a father... Do you understand, Gongchan?” Madeline says slowly. Gongchan looked at her, surprised with what Madeline said. He just nods and says that he wants to go to sleep and calm himself down. Madeline just follows his orders and went out with the rest of the gang.
Madeline brought the boys to a mountain not far from their dorm. Nadia stayed at home because she doesn’t want to leave Gongchan alone.
“Today, we’re going on a hike! Whoever reaches the mountain the fastest, gets to sleep in tomorrow,” says Madeline. After hearing that, the boys became more energetic. They are really lazy when it comes to waking up early. Madeline says she will follow them from behind.
“On your mark, get set.. go!” says Madeline and blows a whistle. The boys aren’t allowed to run, so they walk really fast, as if they need to pee.
Madeline laughs at them at follows from behind.
After about 20 meters of walking, the boys are already tired. They’ve finished their water bottles and now they really need to pee. Madeline, who was walking slowly from behind, didn’t even break a sweat. She walks slowly past them. The boys make an ‘I-Need-To-Pee’ face at Madeline.
“Dig a hole, then,” says Madeline sarcastically. CNU’s mouth dropped. So does Jinyoung, Baro and Sandeul. Madeline sat on a boulder and pointed to the woods, meaning that she’s waiting for them to release their needs in the trees.
“You’re serious?” asks Baro. Madeline nods. Sandeul looks at the others. He stood up and continued walking. “I ain’t gonna release there. No way,” he says as he continues to walk. Madeline looked at him and then to the others. They already have their hands on their crotch.
“Looks like we have no choice,” says leader Jinyoung as he makes his way to the woods. CNU and Baro looked at eachother and sighed. They too make their way to the woods.
“Yah B1A4, that’s the spirit! Hwaiting!” says Madeline.

“Kring... kringgg...” goes Madeline’s cellphone. She looks at the caller ID and it is Nadia. She answers the call.
“Madeline! Come home quick!” says Nadia.
“What is it, Nadia? Is everything alright?” asks Madeline quickly. As soon as Sandeul hears Nadia’s name, he zoomed beside Madeline.
“What’s wrong with Nadia? NADIA IS EVERYTHING OKAY??!!” Sandeul shouts at Madeline’s ear.
“I’m fine, it’s Gongchan! I think he’s waking up!!!” suddenly the phone went silent.
“Dammit, I can’t get any reception here. Come on, we have to go home quickly!” says Madeline to the boys. They all turned around and ran. Madeline ran behind them but she suddenly hit a rock and fell.
“Ow! Hey guys, a little help for the lady?”
Sandeul hears Madeline’s cry for help and races back for her. He puts Madeline on his back and carries her to their van.
“You big baby...” complains Sandeul. Madeline was silently liking the attention and smiled.
Madeline manages to get Jinyoung, Baro and CNU to wake up and take a shower. Now it’s Sandeul’s turn. She charges up to his room and bursts in. Sandeul is still wrapped in his blanket, fast asleep.
Madeline holds Sandeul’s shoulder and shakes him. But Sandeul just slapped Madeline’s hand and turns around to continue his sleep.
“Oppa... wake up. You have to exercise this morning.” Madeline says and tickles Sandeul’s feet. Sandeul wakes up for a minute, then went back to sleep. Madeline, frustrated, took a big leap and pulled Sandeul’s feet until he falls on the floor.
“Ow!” says Sandeul while rubbing his eyes. Madeline throws a towel to him and walks out of his room. Sandeul sticks out his tongue to her.
“Control freak. Huh.”

Madeline lead the B1A4 exercise with Nadia sitting at the verandah. “Pregnant womans have to rest,” says Sandeul to Nadia earlier. After finishing the exercise, Sandeul quickly takes two bottles from Madeline and hands one to Nadia. Nadia smiles and accepts it. Madeline was watching them both from a distance. Nadia catches Madeline watching but Madeline quickly puts her attention to something else.
After washing up, the B1A4 members were allowed to do anything they want. They don’t practice any songs since Gongchan is still in a coma. Madeline takes a walk in B1A4’s flower garden. Nadia says that the boys planted the flowers themselves during spring time. Her attention draws to a flower in the middle of the garden.
It was a red and white rose bush. The flowers and blooming and looks beautiful. She looks at the vase and sees a sticker saying “Sandeul’s property.” Meaning it was off limits.
Suddenly, “You can have one if you want,” says a voice behind her. Madeline turns around and sees Sandeul standing behind her. “Oh, I was just looking.” Madeline quickly walks out of the garden but was stopped in her tracks. She turned around and saw Sandeul holding out a red rose to her.
“I grew this to give it to a special girl. But I haven’t found one and I don’t want to waste a flower. So here. Take it.”
Madeline takes the rose softly and smells it. She smiles and thanked Sandeul. She turns around and walks back to the house. Sandeul felt happy seeing Madeline smile and follows her to the house as well.

The boys visited Gongchan and said their prayers for him. They continued their day by playing a dance game where you have to dance according to the colors. They even have the dance mat to go with.
Nadia was being forced by Madeline to eat her salad. Madeline says it's for protein, but Nadia said she could drink Horlicks instead. Madeline gave her a long look and Nadia laughed at her. She gives up and eats her salad. It was actually quite tasty with a thousand islands sauce.
Nadia noticed how many times Madeline and Sandeul had eye contact.
“Madeline..” says Nadia.
“Yes?” she replies.
“Do you and Sandeul have.. you know.. feelings for eachother?” Nadia asks with a wide grin on her face. Madeline’s eyes grew bigger and she looks on the table, blushing. She shakes her head and takes Nadia’s bowl to the dishwasher.
“Shh. I don’t want him to hear you say that,” whispers Madeline to Nadia. Nadia’s smile grew wider until her cheeks burn.
“I knew it! Haha!” shouts Nadia. She realized she said that too loud and puts her hand on her mouth. Sandeul turns to them and asks what’s wrong. Nadia shakes her head and turns back to Madeline.
“He was having a bad time with his ex-girlfriend. I knew he needs someone new to take care of him,” whispers Nadia to Madeline. Madeline looks at Nadia with a clueless look on her face. Nadia hits Madeline’s head softly and pulls Madeline to Madeline’s room.
“You like Sandeul, don’tchu?” asks Nadia.
Madeline noticed what Nadia is going in to and shook her head.
“Come on, let’s gossip. I haven’t had a friend to talk to in ages.” Nadia says as she leaps onto Madeline’s bed while minding her big tummy.
“Bah, whether I like him or not, he doesn’t seem to feel the same way,” says Madeline gloomily.
“Why do you say that? You’re the perfect girl for him!” Nadia gets excited.
Madeline smiles and sighs. “Sandeul still has feelings for Hyuna. I bumped into him at Hyuna’s rehabilitation centre.”
Nadia smiled and pats Madeline’s back. “Chillax. Sandeul is a very caring guy. I bet deep down he has a spot for someone new.” Nadia stands up, made a thumbs up to Madeline and leaves Madeline’s room. Madeline sighs and sits on her bed.
"Will I ever be loved?" she says as she pulls out a picture under her pillow and takes a long look at it.
Part 14 hingga 16 sebenarnya sudah ditulis di Microsoft Word ketika ketiadaan internet hew hew. Hari ni 14 and 15 dulu kay. Esok 16 pulak. Ohoho.
Today Nadia and Mrs Ramlah made a decision to take care of Gongchan at B1A4’s dorm. They checked out and the receptionist says that they will send a nurse to take care of Nadia and Gongchan in case Nadia has sudden pain or Gongchan wakes up. Nadia nods and signs the letters. They brought Gongchan home and laid him in their bed. Sandeul helps with the luggage and everything.
“Sandeul, I’m going to wash up. There will be a nurse staying with us so will you please welcome her?” Nadia says as she takes off her shoes. Sandeul nods and serves a cup of coffee for Nadia. Nadia thanks Sandeul and takes the coffee to her bedroom. Sandeul goes to the guest room and cleans the room for the new roomie.
Suddenly, “Ding dong!” goes the bell.
“Must be the new nurse,” says Sandeul as he wipes his wet hands on his trousers. He rushes to the door and opens it. He was surprised to see the nurse he bumped into yesterday.
“Eh....? What is oppa doing here?” she asks.
“I live here,” Sandeul replies. The nurse looks at a note in her hand and says, “Is this the right address to a Miss Nadia and Mr Gongchan?” she asks. Sandeul nods and helps her with her bag. She was obviously astonished to be living with the B1A4 group.
“I thought the couple lived in another house,” says the nurse. Sandeul ignores her bewilderment and asks her name.
“It’s Madeline.”
“Nice name, suits you perfectly,” compliments Sandeul as he shows Madeline to her new room. Madeline blushed and followed Sandeul with curious steps.

“Hi. Um, my name is Madeline Jia. I’m a trainee nurse and manager. I was sent here to treat Nadia and Gongchan, plus, become your temporary manager,” Madeline introduces herself to her new housemates. Nadia shakes her hand and says that they welcome Madeline to her new house.
“Since when do we need a babysitter?” asks CNU.
“Since B1A4 is starting a reality show next week, the company sent me,” explains Madeline.
“Ah, things we do for peoples entertainment...” sighs Jinyoung. Baro yawns and says he wants to go to sleep early. So does Sandeul and the others.
“Btw, starting from now you guys are waking up early,” says Madeline. The B1A4 boys looked at her in astonishment. She just nudges her shoulders and said, “Rules are rules. Sorry.” She left them and went to her room.
Nadia laughs at the boys and teased them. Baro gave a big noogie on Nadia’s head and ran. Nadia who was four months pregnant still has the strength to chase after him. Followed by Sandeul, who was worried about Nadia falling. Jinyoung and CNU saw the fun and joined them. Nadia got tired early and constricted herself to bed.

“Nadia.. it’s time for you to take you medications,” says Madeline as she knocks on Nadia’s bedroom door. Nadia opens the door and invites Madeline in. Madeline walks and looks at the pictures of Nadia and Gongchan a few months ago, before Gongchan fell into a coma.
“He’s a handsome man, isn’t he?” Nadia asks Madeline. Madeline turned to Nadia and nods. She takes 2 pills from Nadia’s medication pack and gave it to Nadia.
“I’m sure he’s going to be fine...” says Madeline.
“I hope so,” Nadia says and ate the pills. Madeline bowed and leaves Nadia’s room. Nadia takes a wet towel and wipes Gongchan’s face.
“I hope you wake up soon...” Nadia says and slept beside Gongchan.
Four months have past and Nadia’s stomach has already grown. Her tummy is quite big for having to be pregnant for only four months. Unusual but Nadia just shook it off. She never left Gongchan’s side unless she needs to do her private business. Sandeul helps by providing food and clothes.
Nadia made the hospital as her own home. Her mother worries about her, but she said since she’s having a baby it’s best for her to prepare. Her ultrascan is next week and she can’t wait. But she’s also sad that she couldn’t savour the moment with her lovely Channie.
“Deulie, what do you think I should name my first baby?” asks Nadia to Sandeul while knitting a small sweater. She truly feels like a mother already.
“I don’t know. I have no experience in fatherhood. Haha,” laughs Sandeul as he puts fresh flowers in a vase beside Gongchan’s bed.
“I wish I could ask Channie..” says Nadia sadly. She continues her work. Sandeul looks sympathetically at Nadia.
“Nadia, your tummy looks very big. It’s like you’re already pregnant for 7 months!” says Sandeul as he looks at Nadia’s tummy. Nadia rubs it and nods. “I know right.” She scoffs.

Nadia rests on an armchair and puts headphones on her stomach. She plays her MP3 on shuffle and let it play for her baby. Suddenly she hears a knock on the door. She turns around and sees Hyuna with cuffs and a police holding her shoulder.
“Hyuna? What are you doing here?” asks Nadia. She’s still mad with Hyuna for ruining her life. But she can’t change what has happened.
“Nadia... I.. I want to apologize,” says Hyuna softly. She doesn’t dare to look at Nadia’s face because she feels guilty to Nadia. Nadia stands up and walks to Hyuna. She pats Hyuna’s back and says, “It’s okay. I accept your apology. I can’t change the past.” Hyuna starts to cry and puts her face on Nadia’s shoulders. The police tries to pull Hyuna back but Nadia nods to say it’s okay.
“I don’t think an apology from me is enough for you. Let me help in any way I can. Please,” begs Hyuna. Nadia nods and says she just wants Hyuna to change. Hyuna smiles and nods. The police says it’s time for Hyuna to go back to her rehab centre. They say their farewells and Hyuna leaves.

Sandeul drove to Hyuna’s rehabilitation centre. He enters and watches Hyuna from afar and is happy with Hyuna’s progress. He wants to take care of the person he cares about, even if it means sacrificing his dignity. Suddenly he is knocked down by one of the nurse there.
“Oh, I am very sorry. I’m in a... Oh my god, Sandeul oppa!” says the childish nurse with large spectacles. Sandeul stands up and brushes his butt. He helps the nurse on her feet.
“It’s okay,” says Sandeul.
“This is my first day here and I’m really stressed out. Well then, bye! Nice meeting you, oppa!” says the nurse as she runs off.
“What a funny little nurse. I did not even get her name.” Sandeul walks back to his car and drives back to his dorm.
"Warghh!" Shin Dong Woo, atau Shinwoo, menguap selepas pulang daripada parti rakan-rakannya. Puas dia menyanyi di karaoke set milik kawannya, Sandeul, dan makan steak yang dibuat oleh Jinyoung. Mereka kemudian pulang pada pukul 1 pagi. Gongchan mempelawa Shinwoo untuk menghantarnya pulang namun dia mahu berjalan sahaja ke rumahnya untuk menikmati udara segar. Dia tinggal tidak jauh daripada rumah Sandeul jadi ia tidak menjadi masalah baginya.
"Baik aku pasang lagu kat MP3. Baru syok." Shinwoo kata pada dirinya sendiri dan mengeluarkan alat MP3 daripada beg galasnya. Sedang dia meletakkan alat pendengar di telinganya, dia terpandang di atas bangunan dan ternampak susuk tubuh seorang perempuan di hujung bangunan tersebut. "Bapak ah, hantu ke tu siot?" Bila diamatinya dengan teliti, perempuan itu merupakan jirannya, Park Gee Na!
"Eh, pehal dia tu. Nak bunuh diri? Oh em gee!" Dia nampak Gee Na menanggalkan kasutnya dan menjatuhkannya ke bawah. Shinwoo makin cemas. Kemudian Gee Na lompat pula. Shinwoo yang merupakan juara lumba lari di waktu sekolah terus memecut dan melompat ke arah Gee Na. Sempat-sempat sahaja dia menangkap Gee Na.
"Opocot mak kau! Nasib baik aku sempat!" kata Shinwoo. Dia melihat muka Gee Na yang sedang menutup mata dengan rapat dan mengetap bibirnya. Tiba-tiba, Gee Na membuka sebelah matanya.
"Eh, aku dah mati ke belum? Eh, Shinwoo? Kau dah mati ke?" tanya Gee Na, terpinga-pinga. Shinwoo tergelak lalu berkata, "Tak lah budak. Aku selamatkan kau!" Gee Na membulatkan mata dia dan melepaskan dirinya daripada dakapan Shinwoo. "Pehal kau selamatkan aku?!" Gee Na menghentak kakinya ke tanah dan pergi mencari beg tangannya yang dijatuhkannya.
"Oh, tadi kau memang nak mati ea? Maaf lah." jerit Shinwoo dengan nada yang menyampah. "Ye la, aku dah bersedia!" balas Gee Na. Kemudian Gee Na duduk di atas jalan raya dalam keadaan bersila. Shinwoo melompat didepannya dan berkata, "Kau nak kena langgar pulak? Pe masalah kau?"
Gee Na menjeling ke arah Shinwoo dan mengeluarkan lidahnya. Kemudian dia mengembungkan pipinya dan memuncungkan mulutnya. "Gee Na, kau tak jawab soalan aku."
"Aku dah bosan dengan hidup laaa. Boyfriend aku tinggalkan aku untuk perempuan lain. Mak ayah aku punya business dah bankrupt, pastu nak guna duit simpanan aku. Aku tak lulus semester kat U." Mata Gee Na mula berkaca. Shinwoo kemudian memegang tangan Gee Na dan menariknya. "Hey, kau buat apa ni?" tanya Gee Na.
"Aku nak tolong kau la." Shinwoo berkata dengan selamba.
Shinwoo membawa Gee Na ke rumahnya. Gee Na pula dipaksa duduk di atas sofa. Shinwoo berjalan ke arah dapur untuk membawakan Gee Na makanan ringan.
"Asal kau bawak aku ke rumah kau?" tanya Gee Na dengan nada marah. Shinwoo membawa segelas air mangga dan keropok udang kepada Gee Na dan berkata, "Hari ni, kau tidur rumah aku. Esok, aku kasi kau enjoy hidup kau sebelum kau mati. Ok?" Shinwoo senyum ke arah Gee Na dan masuk ke biliknya. Gee Na pula terpinga-pinga. "Mamat ni, otak straight ke tak?" dia kata pada dirinya sendiri dan mula menjamah hidangan yang diberi oleh Shinwoo. Kemudian dia tertidur.
Keesokan harinya, Shinwoo menyiram muka Gee Na dengan air sejuk. Gee Na terus terbangun dan tercungap-cungap untuk oksigen.
"Kau gila ke apa?!!!" jerit Gee Na dengan rambut yang terpacak-pacak. Shinwoo terus gelak berguling-guling di atas lantai. "Kau kan nak mati malam ni, so apa salahnya kau bangun dengan segar sikit. Today is gonna be a good day!" Shinwoo kemudian menghulurkan tuala, berus gigi yang masih dalam bungkusan, dan sepasang baju miliknya.
"Pi mandi, lepastu kau pakai baju aku dulu. Jangan risau, ni baju unisex." Shinwoo mengangkat keningnya dan meletakkan barang-barang tersebut di sebelah Gee Na. Dia kemudian pergi membuat sarapan sambil bersiul lagu Wonderful Tonight. Gee Na meniup rambut hadapannya ke atas dan pergi mencari tandas.
Pada pukul 12 tengah hari, Shinwoo membawa Gee Na ke Funfair. Mereka pergi dengan scooter milik Shinwoo. Dalam perjalanan, Shinwoo bergurau dan membawa scooter-nya dengan kelajuan yang tinggi sebab dia suka lihat rambut Gee Na yang panjang itu mengerbang. Perjalanan itu mengambil masa 30 minit.
"Asal kau bawak aku ke sini? Nak main roller coaster ea?" tanya Gee Na sambil membetulkan rambutnya.
"Tak lah, aku dengar sini ada kedai souvenir yang best jadi aku nak jenguk jap. Kalau nak main roller coaster pun boleh meh, aku belanja kau. Kan hari ni hari last kau nak hidup." Shinwoo menjelirkan lidahnya ke Gee Na dah pergi membeli tiket masuk. Gee Na mencemikkan mukanya.
"Meh aku pakaikan gelang ni, budak kecik." kata Shinwoo sambil menarik tangan Gee Na dan memakai gelang funfair itu. Gee Na menurut sahaja. Mereka kemudian masuk ke funfair itu. "Bapak ramai doh. Gee Na, pegang tangan aku. Kau dah la kecik. Kalau hilang susah pulak. Tak jadi kau nak mati hari ni." kata Shinwoo lalu memegang tangan Gee Na.
"Kau nak perli aku ea." kata Gee Na. Shinwoo pura-pura tak dengar dan menarik tangan Gee Na.
"Jom naik yang tu." kata Shinwoo sambil menunjuk ke arah roller coaster yang tinggi. Gee Na membulatkan mata dan menggelengkan kepalanya. "Kau takut ea? Don't worry, aku kan ada. Har har," gurau Shinwoo sambil menepuk dadanya dan mengenyitkan matanya ke Gee Na. Kemudian dia menarik tangan Gee Na dan beratur di barisan roller coaster itu. Selepas menunggu dalam 5 minit, mereka dapat tempat duduk di bahagian hadapan.
"Weh, kalau kau takut, kau pegang tangan aku kuat-kuat pastu jerit 'Shinwoo comel' tau! Hahahaha." gurau Shinwoo selamba. Gee Na mencemikkan muka dan pura-pura merajuk. "Alelele," kata Shinwoo sambil menjelirkan lidahnya. Tiba-tiba penjaga roller coaster itu jerit "Sedia!" dan memulakan permainan itu. Apabila sampai ke puncak yang tertinggi, Gee Na memegang tangan Shinwoo dan jerit "Shinwoo busuk!!!" sambil ketawa riang.
"Salah lah woi!! Hahahahahaha!!"
"Ini order anda. Satu steak daging lembu dengan kentang, fish and chips, air limau barli dan air guava pink. Selamat menjamu selera." kata pelayan restoran itu kepada Shinwoo dan Gee Na. Shinwoo membayar 'on-the-spot' dengan duitnya.
"Hari ni, aku belanja kau. Makanlah puas-puas. Aku akan pastikan kau pergi ke dunia sana dengan aman." kata Shinwoo sambil memotong daging steak-nya. "Kau ni, tak habis-habis dengan aku nak mati tu." balas Gee Na dengan muka yang masam. Shinwoo ketawakan sahaja Gee Na. Mereka segera menghabiskan makanan mereka dan berlalu ke kedai souvenir.
Di situ, Shinwoo membelek sebuah patung kucing kecil dan memesan 20 buah patung itu. Gee Na terkejut lalu bertanya, "Kau nak kasi kat siapa sampai banyak-banyak gini?" Shinwoo meletakkan jarinya di bibir Gee Na dan kata, "Secret."
Mereka membawa patung-patung itu ke scooter Shinwoo. Gee Na mengheret beg yang membawa patung-patung itu dan bertanya, "Boleh ke bawak guna scooter je ni?"
"Weh, this scooter is 10 years old. Nothing's impossible." balas Shinwoo lalu memakai spek mata hitam kegemarannya.
"Seoul Orphanage?" kata Gee Na sambil membaca papan tanda yang terpampang di depan sebuah rumah dua tingkat bewarna kuning. "Ni rumah anak yatim adik aku uruskan. Hari ni ulangtahun kedua mereka. Jadi aku nak belikan mereka hadiah." Shinwoo menunjukkan ID Card kepada 'pak guard' dan membawa scooter nya masuk. Mereka kemudian membawa beg yang berisikan patung dan mengetuk pintu rumah itu.
"Hellooooo! Uncle Shinwoo datang ni!" jerit Shinwoo sambil mengetuk pintu. Seorang kanak-kanal kecil perempuan membuka pintu dan terpancar wajah ceria pada mukanya. "Mama Chichi! Uncle Shinwoo datang!!" kata kanak-kanak itu. Kemudian kedengaran suara kanak-kanak berusih 4 hingga 12 tahun memenuhi rumah itu. Shinwoo membuka kasutnya dan masuk ke rumah itu, diikuti dengan Gee Na.
"Ah, Shinwoo, terima kasih lah datang hari ni." kata seorang wanita yang dipanggil Mama Chichi oleh kanak-kanak di situ. "Ni untuk budak-budak kat sini." Shinwoo kata dan menghulur beg berisi patung kepada adiknya.
"Oh, ni siapa pula?" tanya Chichi sambil menunjuk ke arah Gee Na. "Nama saya Gee Na. Saya jiran Shinwoo." Gee Na memperkenalkan dirinya dan tersenyum manis ke arah kanak-kanak kecil di situ. "Selamat datang ke rumah saya. hehe. Maaflah, tak tahu pula ada tetamu."
"Eh, takpe takpe. Saya teman Shinwoo je." Gee Na berjabat tangan dengan Chichi. Chichi kemudian membuka beg itu dan mengedarkan patung-patung itu kepada kanak-kanak di situ. Shinwoo pula menarik Gee Na ke satu sudut.
"Weh, tengok ni. Budak-budak ni, adik aku ambil bila diorang dah takda harapan nak hidup. Tapi diorang still gembira, walaupun diorang dah lalui masa-masa perit." kata Shinwoo sambil tersenyum ke Gee Na. Gee Na termenung kosong sahaja ke arah kanak-kanak yang senang bergelak ketawa dengan mainan baru mereka. Tiba-tiba Shinwoo menarik tangan Gee Na dan meletakkan satu pasu kecil yang berisi bunga-bunga yang warna-warni. "Apa pulak ni?" tanya Gee Na. "Hadiah." kata Shinwoo dan berlalu pergi untuk bermain dengan kanak-kanak di situ.
Gee Na tersengih sendirian sambil menyentuk bunga-bunga kecil itu. Dia berjalan-jalan di sekitar kawasan rumah itu dan ternampak susuk tubuh seorang kanak-kanak di dalam pokok-pokok. "Eh?" Gee Na mendekati kanak-kanak itu dan ternampak seorang budak perempuan dalam lingkungan 7 tahun, yang menyorok daripada Gee Na.
"Hai.." kata Gee Na sambil melambaikan tangannya. Kanak-kanak itu menyorok lagi. "Nama awak siapa? Nama akak Gee Na.. Jangan lah nyorok.." kata Gee Na dengan lembut. Budak perempuan itu mengintai sahaja. Gee Na perasan bahawa dia memerhati pasu bunga kecil di tangan Gee Na. "Awak suka ini? Nah, akak kasi." Gee Na menghulurkan pasu bunga itu kepada budak itu. Dia sedih untuk melepaskan pasu bunga itu, tapi dia tidak mahu budak perempuan itu kesejukan di luar.
Seperti magis, kanak-kanak itu keluar dan mengambil pasu bunga kecil itu. Dia tersenyum dan memeluk Gee Na. Gee Na terasa gembira dan membawa budak itu ke dalam. "Nama saya Rina.." kata budak perempuan itu dengan lembut.
"Rina! Haih Mama dah lama cari Rina tau!" jerit Chichi kecemasan sambil memeluk Rina. "Saya jumpa dia dekat luar.." kata Gee Na. Rina berterima kasih kepada Gee Na dan mengatakan bahawa Rina baru kehilangan ibu bapanya dua bulan yang lalu. Gee Na orang yang pertama untuk berbaik dengan Rina.
"Weh kecik! Balik!" Shinwoo memanggil Gee Na.
"Yela.. yelaa. Bye Chichi, bye Rina! Bye semua!" kata Gee Na lalu mengikuti Shinwoo.
Hari dah beransur malam, Shinwoo pula membawa Gee Na ke puncak bukit yang tidaklah terlalu tinggi, namun cukup untuk melihat pandangan yang indah. Shinwoo meletakkan sehelai kain di situ dan menyusun makanan. Kemudian dia memimpin Gee Na dan menyuruh Gee Na duduk.
"So, kau jadi tak nak pergi ke alam sana hari ni?" kata Shinwoo sambil tersengih. Gee Na tersenyum dan menggelengkan kepalanya. Shinwoo membalas balik senyuman Gee Na dan menuangkannya segelas air plum. "Sebenarnya aku dah agak dah kau akan kasi pasu bunga tu kat budak kecik tu. Kau kan ada aura makcik-makcik haha." gurau Shinwoo. Gee Na mampu senyum sahaja.
"Cantiknya pemandangan kat sini.." kata Gee Na dengan lembut. Shinwoo memandang muka lembut Gee Na dan tersenyum. Dia kemudian menghulurkan satu bunga ros merah yang segar. Gee Na terkejut, dan kata "Untuk aku ke ni?". Shinwoo mengangguk dan meletakkan ros itu di tangan Gee Na. "Dia takde duri. Ros ni special." kata Shinwoo.
"Gee Na, kau ingat tak time kau tolak pelawaan aku untuk bawak kau pergi majlis tari-menari tu? Aku sedih gila tau dak." kata Shinwoo dengan nada yang muram. "Lah, tu kau ke? Bapak nerd kau dulu! Sekarang dah hensem dah haha." kata Gee Na yang hampir tersedak minum air plum dia.
"Kalau sekarang ada peluang lagi tak nak nari ngan aku?" kata Shinwoo sambil mengangkat sebelah keningnya. Dia bangun dan menarik Gee Na. Kemudian mereka menari ala-ala waltz.
"Kalau la kau tak selamatkan aku semalam, takde lah kau dapat nari ngan aku hari ni kan. Haha." kata Gee Na sambil tergelak. Shinwoo yang merupakan seorang 'raja' tarian, mengajar Gee Na cara-cara menari yang lebih 'pro'.
"Gee Na, kau tau dak dari dulu aku suka kat kau. Tapi aku segan doh. Haha. Sekarang pun sama." kata Shinwoo yang semakin merah pipinya. Gee Na tersenyum dah meletakkan kepalanya di dada Shinwoo.
"Aku pun."
Pada malam itu, Shinwoo menghantar scooter-nya ke rumahnya dan menghantar Gee Na balik ke rumah nya. Setelah tiba je di rumah Gee Na, Shinwoo mengusap kepala Gee Na dan mengucapkan selamat tinggal. Gee Na memerhatikan sahaja Shinwoo pulak dengan perasaan yang bercampur aduk.
Keesokan paginya, Gee Na bersiap untuk pergi menjenguk Shinwoo dan memulangkan baju yang dipinjamnya. Dia mengetuk pintu rumah Shinwoo dan yang membukanya Chichi yang sedang menangis. Gee Na berasa hairan dan melihat di dalam rumah Shinwoo. Terdapat ramai ahli keluarga Shinwoo.
"Eh, Shinwoo mana?" Tanya Gee Na yang semakin cemas melihat keadaan di rumah Shinwoo. "Shinwoo masuk hospital subuh tadi.. buah pinggang dia rosak dua-dua belah..." kata Chichi sambil teresak-esak. Gee Na terkejut dan terus berlari ke hospital. Dia bertanya kepada orang kaunter itu dimana Shinwoo ditempatkan dan mencarinya. Dia memasuki bilik 209 yang diberitahu orang kaunter tersebut dan nampak Shinwoo yang terlantar di atas katil.
"Shinwoo!! Kenapa tak bagitau awak sakit??" tanya Gee Na yang sudah berkaca matanya. Shinwoo hanya mampu tersenyum dan memegang tangan Gee Na. "Maaf lah... saya.... tak bagitau... awal-awal lagi...." kata Shinwoo yang lemah. Kemudian muncul seorang doktor daripada luar.
"Shinwoo memerlukan seorang untuk derma organ berdarah A untuknya. Kalau tidak, dia mungkin tidak akan selamat esok." Gee Na teringat yang dia pernah mengambil ujian darah dan dia merupakan seorang yang berdarah A. "Doktor, saya boleh!" katanya dengan penuh semangat. Doktor itu menyuruh Gee Na mengikutnya. Sewaktu Gee Na mahu bergerak, Shinwoo memegang tangan Gee Na dan menggelengkan kepalanya. "Kau dah selamatkan aku, aku pulak selamatkan kau.." kata Gee Na dan melepaskan genggaman Shinwoo dengan tangannya yang lagi sebelah.
Chichi muncul di sisi Shinwoo dan memegang bahu abangnya dengan perasaan sedih.
Gee Na dipakaikan baju operasi. Doktor suruh dia baring di atas katil. Katilnya digerakkan disebelah katil Shinwoo. Dia memandang Shinwoo dengan mata yang sayu. Muka Shinwoo semakin pucat. Dia memalingkan mukanya kerana tidak sanggup melihat keadaan jejaka yang disayanginya. 30 minit kemudian, doktor muncul bersama beberapa jururawat. Mereka membawa katil Shinwoo dan Gee Na ke bilik operasi yang sejuk. Baju mereka ditanggalkan pula dan diletakkan sehelai kain dan pemanas badan.
Kemudian dipasangkan mula mask oksigen pada muka mereka. Gee Na mengambil pandangan terakhir ke Shinwoo yang sudah pengsan. Tidak lama kemudian, dia pun tertidur...
Shinwoo tersedar 4 jam kemudian. Dia terasa bertenaga. Tetapi dia hairan, kenapa dia masih di bilik operasi? Dia memandang di sekeliling bilik itu. Dia ternampak suasana yang kecoh di antara doktor-doktor itu. Mereka sedang mengerumuni badan Gee Na. "Gee.... Na...?" dia sebut dengan lemah.
"Doktor, nadi dia semakin lemah! Kita mesti buat sesuatu!" kata jururawat yang tinggi lampai itu. Kemudian terdengar bunyi 'Tettttt' yang lama. Nadi Gee Na sudah tiada. Suasana semakin cemas. Shinwoo memandang dengan muka yang terkejut. Dia tidak sangka perkara ini akan berlaku pada gadis yang menolongnya. Doktor yang mengetuai operasi itu mengambil paddle pengejut dan meletakkannya pada dada Gee Na.
"Satu.. dua... tiga!" paddle itu mengeluarkan elektrik dan badan Gee Na terangkat. Namun ia tidak mengubah situasi yang berlaku. Cubaan mengejutkan nadi Gee Na dilakukan sebanyak 3 kali, tetapi semua gagal. Doktor itu mengeluh panjang dan menanggalkan topengnya.
"Waktu kematian, 6 jam 9 minit petang."
Hati Shinwoo seolah-olah terjatuh ke lantai.
Shinwoo terasa badannya penuh dengan adrenalin. Dia terus bangun, menarik wayar-wayar yang melekat pada badannya dan menerpa badan Gee Na. Dia mula menangis teresak-esak. "Gee Na jangan tinggalkan akuuuuu.... ambil lah buah pinggang kau ni balik......." Jururawat cuba menenangkan Shinwoo namun dia menepis tangan jururawat itu. Lama-kelamaan dia pasrah dengan pemergian Gee Na dan mencium dahi Gee Na. Dia melepaskan Gee Na dan terduduk di atas katil operasinya.
Dia menutup matanya dan membayangkan kenangannya dengan Gee Na. Manis mahupun pahit. Dia teringat saat pertama kali dia melihat Gee Na di sekolahnya beberapa tahun yang lalu. Gee Na mempunyai sepasang mata yang cantik, kulit yang halus dan rambut yang beralun. Namun Gee Na seorang yang pemalu dan sering dibuli. Pernah satu ketika, seorang lelaki menarik rambutnya tetapi Shinwoo menolong Gee Na. Dia tidak boleh lupa senyuman manis Gee Na.
Pada saat jururawat mahu menutup muka Gee Na, kedengaran satu bunyi yang aura bilik operasi itu. "Tut.... tut..... tut....." Jantung Gee Na kembali berdegup! Shinwoo mengangkat mukanya. Mata Gee Na terkelip-kelip. Doktor kembali di sisi Gee Na dan menolong Gee Na kembali. Jantungnya berdegup selepas 10 minit ia berhenti. Shinwoo mendekati Gee Na dan memegang tangannya.
"Nasib baik kau tak pergi lagi.." kata Shinwoo dengan mata yang berkaca. Gee Na tersenyum dan kata "Aku mungkin ada banyak sebab untuk mati, tapi aku lagi banyak sebab untuk meneruskan kehidupan.."
1 bulan kemudian, luka bedah Shinwoo dan Gee Na pulih dan mereka mampu berjalan dengan sendiri. Mereka kembali ke rumah masing-masing. Shinwoo menjenguk Gee Na pada hari lewat petang bersama adiknya. Mereka membawa beberapa kuntum bunga ros yang belum lagi mengembang.
"Shinwoooo~ Sekarang kau aku punya!" kata Gee Na selamba. Shinwoo mengangkat keningnya kerana hairan mengapa Gee Na berkata begitu. "Kau kan ada sebahagian daripada diri aku dalam kau, jadi kau aku punya, aku kau punya! Hihi!" jelas Gee Na dengan Gee Na yang riang. Shinwoo tergelak dan mencubit pipi Gee Na.
"Jom kahwin lari! Haha!" kata Shinwoo dan menyarungkan cincin kegemarannya pada jari Gee Na. Gee Na tersenyum luas. Dia gembira bahawa Shinwoo menyelamatkannya. Ternyata dia masih mempunyai sebab untuk meneruskan hidupnya!
